  • I'm so bored
  • Ok, let's talk about cellular respiration...
  • That sounds fun, what is there to know about cellular respiration?
  • There is a lot to know about cellular respiration.
  • First, what is cellular respiration?
  • Cellular respiration is the process that begins with Glucose and turns it into ATP energy. There are 3 stages.
  • Cool, what are the stages?
  • The 3 stages include Glycolysis Kreb Cycle Electron Transport Chain.
  • Oh I heard stuff about the Glycolysis part. The Glycoysis part is anaerobic meaning it doesnt need oxygen to work. Also occurs in the Cell Cytoplasm
  • Yeah, it also starts the process with Glucose then turns it intoPyrude. TheElectrons carried via NADH. In the end there are 2-4 ATP from Glycolysis.
  • Correct, Now what about the Kreb Cycle Electron Transport Chain.
  • Well, The Kreb cycle is aerobic (needing air). It also occurs in the mitochondria. TheElectrons carried via NADH FAdh. It ends up with 2-4 ATP energy.
  • Yeah, The Electron Transport Chain is the final stage. Also occuring in themitochondria and is aerobic. The outcome is 34-34.
  • Also Correct, Together all 3 of these cycles for together to become the Cellular Respiration Process.
