- Story of a food atom Food: sandwich Atom: Oxygen 
- Timmy was running late for work. He brought a sandwich for breakfast. But, he dropped it on the ground.  Let's follow the sandwich. 
- People walk by and don't pick it up.  It is left there. Over time it will start to break down and releases nutrients into the ground. 
- The sandwich breaks down. The nutrients get released into the ground. There was a seed in there. With the water and sunlight, it started to grow. 
-  The plant grows over time. 
- The water from the sandwich gets absorbed by the roots into the plant. This gives the plant the water it needs for photosynthesis. This releases oxygen into the air.
