- Lady Macduff talks to her son about Macduff fleeing and leaving.The argument between Lady Macduff and their son.Acts as a calm before the storm. The storm is attacking Macduff’s castle.The messenger tells Lady Macduff to leave and acts as foreshadowing.Both lady Macduff and Macduff's son is killed in this scene.

- Macduff talks to Malcolm about planning to attack Macbeth.Macduff learns that his castle has been attacked.Macduff convinces Malcolm that he is passionate about killing Macbeth

- All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, thane of Glamis! All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, thane of Cawdor! All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!
