- Farewell Jay! One last question before you go, what did you mean when you said that the amazon road will affect our environment?
- Oh, Because cutting too many trees leads to fewer crops, flooding, and most importantly increased greenhouse gases in our atmosphere.
- If they continue building roads and cutting trees in different forests than climate change will continue to get worse

- Other impacts of deforestation are soil erosion, fewer crops, desertification and most importantly flooding.
- Deforestation plays a huge factor here as the amazon forest has been chopped down to the roots now damaging everyone.
