  • The National Assembly created the first constitution. Feudalism was abolished and France became a limited monarchy. This new government was unsuccessful because it was unstable.spice= political

  • The reign of terror movement was ran by the Committee of Public Safety. Maximilian Robespierre was the leader of the committee and he tried people that were accused of treason by chopping their heads off. At the end, he got his own head chopped off and the committee stopped as well.spice= social
  • Anyone who commits treason will be beheaded!
  • Napoleon is making himself a hero to France. He reforms France by keeping ideas from the Enlightenment. He also promoted religious toleration and opens jobs based on talents ( not much nepotism anymore).
  • After France became stable and wrote a good constitution, Napoleon's legacy remained. Which was equality for all citizens and religious toleration. There was also a growth of Nationalism. Citizens started to be proud of their country. spice= culture
