Storyboard Text

  • There was once a kingdom ruled peacefully by King Numitor. One day, Amulius, Numitor's evil brother, stole the throne. Amulius soon grew worried about Numitor's blood relatives taking over. He executed all relatives but Numitor's daughter, whom he forced to become a priestess, meaning she couldn't give birth. However, she had two twin boys.
  • When Amulius found the twins. he ordered them drowned in the Tiber River. But the servant sent to the river couldn't watch them die, floating them down the river instead, where they were found and raised by a wolf.
  • Remus and Romulus were soon found by a shepherd and his wife. They were named, and grew to 18 without knowing about their right to the throne. At 18, Remus was arrested when Amulius found them. Numitor recognized them, and with the help of townspeople, they killed Amuluis. Numitor was king again, but the twins wanted to create a new city, but argued over who would rule their new city. The result was Romulius killing Remus and creating the city of Rome.
