  • diffrence between European colonist and native americans in how they viwed the land

  • but land is suppose to be for everypne. it should be echanged in groups not just for 1 person.

  • European colonist didnt see land like native amercians did they actually saw it as something that should be bough ir sold. native americans saw land as lad that should be used by every land that should be exchanged to groups and they didnt want to move out. although once european colonist aarrived they were forced out of their land many native americans died of starvation and alot resisted to take back the land that was theirs but ended up worse for native americans especially with the viruses.

  • in 1830, 10,000 native americans were kicked out of their land next to the missispi river and forced into the west which is now oklahoma and about 4,000 died of cold, starvation, disease, and exposure. native americans walked across nine states which was 1,200 miles into their territory. there were natives who resisted moving from their homeland mainly the cherokee.

  • the middle passage had everything to do with slaves the middle passage was the transportation of slaves from africa to the americas where they got sold in pairs with steonger on 1 side men on the other nd women too. the slaves traveled on ship but before they got on many black men betrayed their own rpeople and turned them in. on the ship they sleot on their own feces or with their own dead partner for roughly 80 to 120 days until they got thrown overboard.

  • slaves that worked in plantations spent their whole day on the field working sun up to sun down there were alot of different plantaions like sufer cane plantionsz, cotton plantations, tobacco, etc. when slaves went home they lived in a small shack with a dirt floor and barely any furniture slaves sleot in piles of rags or straw. they food wasnt the greatest either most of it wasnt eatable for animals at least.

  • reservation life for indain american today isnt as good for the big drug use and the suicicdes happening with most indian teens or adults. nativce americans today dont get much money from their ditsance home land they are very poor most try to start a future for themsekves like bands or designing things. indian reservations are suppose to be safe but its the oppisite most indians fall into alchohalism or drug themselves and the down become unsafe because of the wondering natives outside.
  • the effevct on auropeans colonizing in nativve land was tratagous many native americans died because of the diseases the the auropeans brough. most natives go forced into things they didnt want like religoun, culture, etc but most of all setllers didnt go by the law and wiped some natives out. most settler groups were given guns to force thm out of the habitat into another one the land tnaticves were on was great for growing food.
