- Inciting Incident
- Hello! I'm making a documentary about a magic goldfish that grants three wishes. What would you wish for?
- GO AWAY!
- Rising Action
- Answer the question! What would you do if you had a magic goldfish that granted three wishes? Wait, what's that behind you?
- I don't have time for this. Leave me alone.
- Yoni comes up with an idea for a documentary that he can film and sell. He starts walking around and knocking on people's doors, asking them, "If you had a magic goldfish that could grant you three wishes, what would you wish for?"
- Rising Action
- GOLDFISH! GOLDFISH! GOLDFISH! IT'S A MAGIC GOLDFISH!
- Yoni knocks on the door of Sergei's house and starts asking him questions. Sergei wants to be left alone, because of his childhood experiences with the KGB in Russia. Sergei tells Yoni to go away.
- Climax
- Yoni refuses to leave, and continues asking Sergei the question. Sergei begins to get very annoyed and keeps telling Yoni to leave. Suddenly, Yoni spots Sergei's fish on the table behind him.
- Resolution
- Yoni runs past Sergei and into the house and starts dancing around the goldfish, filming it. Sergei is angry and confused and just wants Yoni to go away and leave him alone. Yoni continues to ignore him.
- WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!
- Sergei is confused and angry, so he picks up a burner and hits Yoni over the head with it, killing him. Instantly he realizes what he's done. The goldfish starts convincing Sergei to use his last wish to revive Yoni, and makes Sergei start thinking about the consequences.
- You know, I could revive him with your last wish. Otherwise you would have to live with the guilt for the rest of your life.
- *THUNK*
- The goldfish and Sergei's conscience win him over. He uses his wish to revive Yoni and set him back to just before he knocked on Sergei's door. Yoni lives life like normal, not knowing anything happened, and the goldfish is set free from Sergei.
- Hello! I'm making a documentary about a magic goldfish that grants three wishes. What would you wish for?
- I would keep it with me so I could have company and someone to talk to.
