David and goliath
Storyboard Text
- The Philistine army gathered soldiers for war and had a strong soldier called Goliath and the israelites were on the other side ready for war with the Philistine army.
- David was the youngest son of jesse, he always would go to give his older brothers food while they were fighting the Philistine army. One day David asked some people what will be done for the man who kills Goliath and they said that they get to marry the king's daughter and no more tax for them, but then David's brother Eliab heard him talking to the men, he then got enraged with anger
- David then said "can't i even speak" but then his brother turned around and spoke o someone else. While David was speaking some men overheard him and told Saul, Saul then sent for him
- Saul said to David "you can not go to fight the Philistine's, you are only a young man and he is a warrior". David then told him that God is with him and been for many things so Saul then agreed and told him " May the Lord be with you".
- David then went to fight Goliath and when he arrived David told Goliath that David has come against him in the name of the Lord. Goliath then got angered and he ran at him and David got a rock out of his bag and slung it right at Goliaths head and Goliath fell to the ground. After the battle the Philistines ran away and David took Goliath's head to Jerusalem
- David then returned to Jerusalem with Goliaths head. The king then asked for his dads name and he said " i am the son of Jesse of Bethlehem.
