  • Quartering Act (March 21 1765)
  • You are ordered by the British Parliment to let us have private housing
  • Stamp Act ( March 22 1765)
  • Why so expensive!? How could they, that's way too expensive for us!!
  • Its the new tax on every document!!
  • TAXES ON TEA, PAPER, LEAD, AND GLASS!?
  • Townshend Acts (1767)
  • Here ere the new taxes from the British Parliment. Deal with it!
  • The Quartering Acts were a new strategy from Parliment to solve heavy taxes instead they demanded food and private homes for their soilders. This along with other Acts laid the foundations for organized resistance against the British Empire.
  • Tea Act (1773)
  • There is a new tax on tea! You will have to pay it in order to buy tea.
  • That is it, we will revolt! This the final straw!
  • The Stamp Act was an act of the Parliment of Great Britain that taxed the British colonies in America and required that printed materials in the colonies had to be made on stamped paper produced in London, showing proodr of payment. This contributed to the Revolution by straining problems between the colonies.
  • Intolerable/Coercive Acts (1774)
  • Since you all decided to throw all our tea into the harbor, we are going to enchance the amount of laws and taxes.
  • Thats it, we've had enough! We will no longer let Parliment control us. We are ready to fight for our independence.
  • The Townshend Acts were passes by British Parliment that taxed goods imported to the American colonies. The Acts contributed to the Revolution by showing that the British didnt understand taxation without representation which was important to many of the colonists. This made the colonists angry.
  • Commen Sense (1776)
  • I really am glad this pamphlet inspired more people to partcipate in the revolution.
  • The Tea Act was an Act of the Parliment of Great Britain to tax all tea to help the British East India Company in its London warehouses struggling to survive. The Tea Act fueled the tension between Britian and America that ultimately lead to the Revolutionary War.
  • NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION
  • The Interolerable acts (Also know as the Coercive Acts) were laws passed by the British Parliment. They were meant to punish the American colonists for the Boston Tea party and a variety of other protests. The Intolerable Acts helped unite the colonies and ultimitely pushed them one step closer to the revolution.
  • Commen Sense was a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine advocating independance from Great Britain to the people in the Thirteen Colonies. This helped many Americans to gain independence and become their own nation to try and fight in the revolution. It is considered to be one of the most influential pamphlets in American history.
  • It did! We now have a bigger army and are getting ready to fight!
