- I'm going to go see my daughter Desiree and my grandchild
- Madame Valmonde meets the baby and greets Desiree and notices that the baby is a bit darker, but Desiree doesn't realize
- Desiree realizes that her child looks a lot like the little boys who were playing with him and brings this to her husband, Armand's attention
- Somethings not right
- You are the reason our son is like that!!! Leave me alone!!
- And so, Desiree says her farewell and leaves Armand with the baby
- Desiree decided that she didn't want to go back to live with her parents so she goes into a bayou with the baby
