  • The U.S Colonies purchase land from France for the price of 15 million dollars. This deal is also known as, the Louisiana Purchase.

  • Whadda ya say? Rebels together, join us. We are fighting for the liberation of Texas and Mexico.
  • Mexican citizens are unhappy and are protesting their rights. They all went through the same unfair treatment, never able to get a stable life.
  • Battle of Medina
  • Father Miguel Hidalgo rallies up a group of people in order to fight for the Mexican citizen's rights.

  • Contitution of 18241. Indiviual Rights, Thou rights cannoth be taken. 2. Seperation of Powers, Powers are distributed evenly between government. 3. Federalism, Power is shared between different levels of government. 4. Republican, Thou have thr right to vote who represents the government.
  • Filibusters, they were rebels who waged wars on countries unofficially and did stuff the benefit themselves, with no government involvement.
  • A great bloody war with the Spanish forces vs. The Republican Army of the North. The Spanish won this war by a lot, a hard defeat to the Republican Army of the North.

  • This is when the Constitution of 1824 was signed, Mexico finally gained its independence. Mexico was free, everybody has rights, this has a giant impact on the culture of Texas history.
