  • The location and geography of Greece
  • The myth of Romulus and Romes 
  • influence of Etruscan engineering
  • Rome was on a peninsula located in Italy. Also it concurred some islands on southern Europe. The peninsula was shaped like a boot. It stretched into the Mediterranean sea.
  • Influence of Etruscan sports
  • The princess gave birth to two baby twins. The baby's were sent to be drowned in the river by the evil king. instead of drowning they were floating . Then a wolf raised them. Later after that a man took the boys and adopted them. The boys grew up and took over a kingdom and over threw the kings. They also created a land and the brothers started to fight over what to name the land. They got into a big fighting and ended up killing Romulus. So the kingdom was named Rome
  • influence of Greek architecture 
  • The Romes were very good sat engineering. They used stone like the Greeks but also invented their own things like arches. Their buildings were very high with a lot of statues 
  • Greek writing on the Rome
  • the Romans were very active. They participated in many kinds of sports like chariot racing. They also had this competitive sport where they fight to the death literally .
  • Greek architecture inspired the Romans. It gave them ideas on the type of material they should use like stone. They also gave them ideas on temples, statues, colors,and temples
  • with a strong influence evident in the works of playwrights such as Plautus and Terence.Romans also adopted Greek literatureMany educated Romans spoke Greek, with Greek becoming one of the two official languages of the Roman Empire, the other of course being Latin.
