  • Here are the responsibilities of Canada's Federal Government.
  • The Executive Branch includes the Monarch, Who is represented in Canada by the Governor General, the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. So, PM what decision are you making today?
  • The members of the Executive Branch are the decision makers of Parliament. They apply laws.
  • I'm the Prime Minister Of Canada and I would like to reduce the speed limit in residential areas.
  • Yes I am a judge and I determine what consequences for those who break the speed limit.
  • The Judicial Branch makes sure that laws are followed correctly. This Branch consists of the supreme court. It is the highest and most important court.
  • We take the proposal made by the PM to the House of Commons where we debate on it. Once it is agreed on, it is then passed on to become a law.
  • The Legislative Branch of Government is responsible for enacting the laws of the state and giving out money necessary to operate the government. So, how do you make laws, regarding the speed limit issue?
