  • Long Car Ride Back
  • I hope the hotel doesn't close. It's getting late.
  • I am so exhausted. I need to sleep.
  • Should I call and check in with them?
  • For sure. Where r we going to stay if the hotel closes
  • Check-In
  • Good Night
  • Good Night
  • I want to go to bed
  • Check-out
  • You guys go to the parking lot and start putting all the bags back.
  • Sounds good see you guys in the parking lot.
  • We are going to go down stairs to get checked out.
  • I get to go home tonight!
  • Can't believe today is the last day of our trip
  • Around 10 pm on the second to last day of our 2021 summer vacation trip. Everyone was exhausted. My dad was driving and August Uncle was at the passenger seat. Almost a 4 hour car rides back. We all wanted to go home. We had no one more stop the next day and then we would be home.
  • Car Window Down?
  • My dad and August uncle parked the car in front of the hotel and went in to get our room keys. Everyone else stayed in the car. They came back in about 15-20 minutes. My dad started the car drove to the back of the hotel. Everyone grabbed their belongings except for my dad and august uncle. They stayed in the car so they could find a good parking spot. We all said "good night" and went up to our rooms.
  • Everyone Confused
  • How did this even happen?
  • What happened?
  • Everyone was ready by 7:30 am the next morning. We all grabbed our bags and headed down. August uncle gave his wife the keys to the car as him and my dad walked down to the front desk to get checked out. Everyone else walked to the parking lot to put away the luggage
  • Life lesson learned and moved on
  • We all came to the parking lot with out belongings. Niranjanna Auntie unlocks the car and says "Why does the car window look like it's down." My mom replies by saying "I don't see anything." I quickly run to the passenger seat window and let my hand through. She was right the car window was down. I was extremely confused and everyone else concerned.
  • I am so confused right now. Is everything ok?
  • Why does it look like the car window is down?
  • You're right why is the window down?
  • It looks fine to me
  • Soon, my dad and August uncle came into the parking lot. He asked what happened. We explained how the passenger seat window was down and wheel locks were on the driver seat. We all slowly started looking around to see if anything was missing. Any valuables. Ray ban, AirPods, and a small bag of change. It was the first time any of us had to deal with anything like this. Our car had been robbed. And there was nothing we could do about it.
  • Did we really just get robbed?
  • Someone broke into our car last night.
  • The passenger seat window was down.
  • Did anyone leave anything valuable in the car?
  • That's when I realized that the world is not safe and my parents are the ones keeping it safe for me. Every single time I would ask my parents can I go out with friends alone they would be questionable about it but at this moment, I realized that anything could happen. Absolutely anything. everyone was so excited to finally make the last stop and go home. But no, This happened on the last day.
  • Everyone is safe. Don't worry. We are on our way home!
  • Wow! Really anything can happen
  • We can't do anything about it now. Lets enjoy the res† of our trip.
