- During the first weeks of School, I was waiting by the locker room When someone approach me and introduces himself. His name isNathan, his grade is 10 and his nationality is German. I said yesto become his friend since I'm a lonely kid anyway.

- During the first few week, Me and Nathan hang out and spend a lot of time with each other during lunch. Eventually, he told me how depress he was both at home and school. Being the good friend that I am I give him some advice for the future ahead of him. He seemed hopeful and made a few joke that made him laugh. After that things went down hill.

- Eventually and I don't know why but Nathan started punching and kicking me and one time trip me. I thought he was just messing with me until he hit me in a sensitive spot. At that point, I went home to tell my parent and my parent told the Assistant principal.

- As I tell the Principal what happen, he revealed something to me. He Revealed that Nathan was mentally ill and is taking counseling. he assured me that Nathan won't harm and he will take care of everything. I thanked him and I left for my next class.

- For two weeks Nathan ask for my forgiveness. I forgive him ( sort of) but I didn't want to be friends. Every time he tried to hang out with him, I always leave him Which made him sad but I didn't care. Eventually both of us move on. But thing went better for me.

- Eventually I made new friends that I felt comfortable too hangout with. They are way better than Nathan and amazing friends to hang out when my day is going horrible. The lesson I learn is to choose your friends wisely. I didn't learn it from the first time. But the second time did. Which is why choose your friends wisely because sometimes the friend you are trying help will one day take over you.
