- So? What is it?
- I heard about the plastic wave so I was searching about it.
- What were you doing all day yesterday?
- Hmm. Makes sense. Use of plastic has drastically increased and is very harmful for us right now, and even in the future.
- Look, because of the pandemic, people are using things made of plastic, if we see the bigger picture, aren't we polluting the environment more than protecting ourselves?
- I want to find our more about it to see what we can do about it!
- We're using around 3 Million disposable masks per minute, around the world. Due to the Covid pandemic, more and more PPE kits, masks, gloves, and headgears are being manufactured which are mainly single use. We just use it once and throw it in the dustbin. It then ends up polluting the water bodies, land or even burn and pollute the air. We don't understand that plastic pollution is also as serious of a problem as the Covid Pandemic. We already know how dangerous plastic is to the ecosystem.
- Calm down, let's discuss what all we can do and encourage others to do
- If this goes on, even before 2050, the plastic in sea will not only be equal to all fish's weights, but even twice or thrice.
- Using reusable masks is good but not that safe, so we should go out of house less.
- Online meetings? Cool!
- Nice, I think we should spread the word through online meetings and forwarding information.
- Not only should we get out for relaxing but also we should try to work from home as much as possible.
- We can have groceries and other stuff home delivered. Atleast less people wearing mask.
