so he had another race with the 2 young opponents and he won again
but now the old wise man in the third race gave him 2 new opponents a grandmother and a blind man to which the boy exclaimed
race?
then he ran off and won again but this time no one congratulated him he became very sad to which the wise old man told him
isn't it supposed to be a race
"What happened, why don't people join in my success?
"Run again, but this time, all three of you, finish together."
The little boy thought a little, stepped in between the blind man and the frail old woman and took the two challengers by the hand. The race began and the little boy walked very slowly, very slowly, until he reached the line and crossed it. The crowd was ecstatic
"Sir, I don't understand! Who is the crowd cheering for, which of the three?"
The wise old man looked into the little boy's eyes, put his hands on the boy's shoulders and gently replied
"Little boy, in this race you have won far more than in any race you have ever run before and in this race the crowd cheers for no winner."
