- The women's march on Versailles occurred when women rioted in the market places of Paris over the high price of bread. 
- Execution of Louis XVl and Marie Antoinette 
- This declaration stated that "men are born and remain free and equal in rights'. The rights of liberty, private property, and the resistance to oppression. 
- Rise of Napoleon
- A time period in France in which there were many executions, caused by political unrest. Many people were killed by the guillotine. 
- Fall of Napoleon
- Both Louis XVl and Marie Antionette were convicted on the count of treason. They both were sentenced to be executed by the guillotine. 
- Napoleon Bonaparte quickly grew in his military positions during the French Revolution and he seized political power in France in 1799 and later crowned himself  emperor in 1804. 
- Napoleon was forced to leave his thrown after being defeated by the Austrian, Prussian, and Russian forces. Napoleon was sentenced to exile.
