- I understand that. From now on I will not share things about your personal life with anyone, especially if I am told not too. I sincerely apologize, I don’t want this to ruin our friendship.
- I accept the apology and I forgive you, I know it was an honest mistake. This won’t ruin our friendship.
- I didn’t realize that I had shared private things about your life with other people. I felt like it was a topic I could talk about with others. I feel like you have been ignoring me for the past couple of days. Is this why you have been ignoring me?
- I feel like you aren’t respecting our me and our friendship. When you do things like share private things that I told you not to tell anyone else, it really makes it hard for me to trust you.
- I apologize for ignoring you, I thought it was the best option. Now that I am looking back I can see that I should have told you that I needed a break instead of just not saying anything.
- Ever since this has happened I didn’t want to “explode” and involve more people than it had to, so I needed to take a break and collect my thoughts to figure out the most effective way to communicate with you.
