Storyboard Text

  • Your brother too must die. Consent you, Lepidus?
  • I do consent
  • These many, then,shall die; theirnames are pricked.
  • But, Lepidus, go you to Caesar's house. Fetch the will hither, and we shall determine How to cut off some charge in legacies.
  • This is a slight unmeritable man,Meet to be sent on errands
  • Octavius, Antony, and Lepidus discuss with each other. They talk about who they need to kill. They all agree on killing Cassius and Brutus
  • Antony tells Lepidus to go and get Caesar's will. They are going to see if they can read Caesar's will and find a way to redirect some of his funds toward them and away from the people.
  • Antony asks Octavius if Lepidus is a worthy enough man to rule Rome with him and Octavius. Octavius replies that he trusts him, but Antony isn't sure if he trusts him and he becomes doubtful.
  • Lucillius has a message for Brutus from Cassius and steps aside to tell him. He says that Cassius is becoming displeased with Brutus, so Brutus is worrying that their friendship may be weakening. Cassius arrives with his army and accuses Brutus of having wronged him.
  • Cassius accuses Brutus of not loving him anymore. He hopes that Antony and Octavius will kill him soon. He feels he has lost his closest ally and friend, so he no longer desires to live. Then he offers his dagger to Brutus to kill him.
  • Brutus was trying to read before bed. When an image enters which was the “Ghost of Caesar”. Brutus thought he might have been dreaming so he asks the image to identify himself. The Ghost replies that he is “thy evil spirit” (IV.iii.288). After telling Brutus that they will see each other again at Philippi, the Ghost disappears, and Brutus wakes his attendants.
