- Who is Hernan Cortes? Hernan Cortes was a Spanish nobleman living in Cuba, sailed to Mexico in search of adventure and wealth.
- Cortes was looking for gold. He exchanged many times for gold.
- When did he explore? He explored in 1519, that is when he sailed to Mexico.
- He explored in what is now called Mexico, I do not know what it was called in the past.
- Where are they coming from? Cortez was coming from Spain. But then he left in 1504 to explore the world.
- Hernan Cortez became an explorer because he wanted to find goldand, find the interior of large sophisticated cities in Mexico.
