- You think your pretty good but not so much, my father is Zeus !
- Exposition
- After racing along the edge of a cliff Epaphus feels upset and brings up the fact that his father is Zeus, and Phaethon just continues to talk back.
- Oh really? Well my father is Apollo, lord of the sun !
- Yeah? well how am I supposed to believe that? huh?
- Rising Action
- After Epaphus tells Phaethon about his relationship with his father, Phaethon then makes up lies about his relationship with Apollo and even exaggerates about it.
- ...Well my father lets me drive the chariot across the sky! and I'll make sure to drive it around your house !
- Rising Action
- Phaethon then goes to see Apollo to ask for permission to ride the chariot so he could prove Epaphus wrong. Apollo torn by the idea then decides to let him ride it but by swearing "by the river styx", which is a promise he can't break.
- I will do anything in my power to help you son.
- Anything you say? well let me drive the chariot across the sky all by myself.
- Climax
- After Phaethon gets permission to ride the chariot he goes and accidentally it to close to the earth, causing there to be destruction and killing people.
- Ahhhhh, how do I stop this thing !!
- Falling Action
- Zeus spots what happens and instantly kills Phaethon with a lighting bolt striking him.
- Ahhhh!!! Help
- Die!!!
- Resolution
- After the incident, Apollo realises that he should've never let Phaethon ride the chariot and makes it that no one will ever be able to ride the chariot but himself.
- After the incident with my son Phaethon, no one will be able to ride the chariot ever agin unless it is I.
