- Scout, im trying to find Boo, shut up or go home!
- Atticus allows Jem ans Scout to go sit my Miss Rachels fish pool with Dill the night before he leaves
- The group decides to go on a walk, which is something nobody does in Maycomb.
- Jem, lets get out of here!
- Jem tries to send Scout home, it doesnt work. If Boo Radley killed them then, they would miss school instead of vacation. Jem complains that Scout is acting more like a girl, so she feels forced to stay.
- Jem, Scout and Dill slip under the fence and creep onto the back porch
- Scout is telling Jem to leave but he ignores her, creeps onto the porch and peeks onto another window
- They see a shawdow of a man holding a gun, and then they hear a shotgun go off.
