Storyboard Text

  •  The birth of Jesus 
  • Jesus was born in Bethlehem between the years 7 and 4 BC, his parents were Mary and Joseph. Jesus was named the Son of God.
  • Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist in the river Jordan. Jesus, after his baptism, went to the desert to reflect.
  •  Baptism of Jesus 
  • Jesus traveled, began his own public ministry, preached, helped the sick and poor, and had a large following. He performed miracles like turning water into wine, walking on water. He called twelve apostles and the people believed that he was the son of God, the Messiah.

  •  The Last Supper 
  • On the first day of Passover, the Last Supper was the final meal that Jesus had with his twelve apostles in Jerusalem before his crucifixion. Judas, one of his apostles betrayed him. After dinner, as a sign Judas kissed Jesus so the Romans would know who to arrest.
  • Jesus was accused of blasphemy and sentenced to be crucified. He had to carry his own cross and people along the way ridiculed him, he was nailed to the cross and left there to die. Afterwards he was moved to a cave tomb.
  •  Crucifixion of Jesus 
  • Three days after Jesus died, the stone in front of the tomb had been moved and his body was gone. He rose from dead. Another miracle of God known as his resurrection. According to the bible is death was a sacrifice for the sins of others. His resurrection presents the potential for rebirth, salvation and renewal of faith.
