  • The Reeves tale was the third story in the Canterbury tales.
  • Climax
  • John and Alan, Went to Mr.Millers Farm mill to get their corn ground.John and Alan are two college students that are enraged about the Miller robbing their professor of his corn.SO the students test the Millers honestity.
  • Falling Action
  • The students wanted to watch the Miller ground the corn.The Miller let John and Alan's horse losse to distract them.Then the Miller robs John and Alan of their corn instead of doing what they request.
  • Resolution
  • Alan finds out about the corn being shorter than expected.Then he comes up with a plan to have revenge and sleeps with Mr. Miller's daughter.His logic is if he made the Miller mad he wouldn't short him next time.
  • The Miller woke up after Alan telling him that he was sleeping with his daughter.Mr. Miller beats up Alan after finding out he sleeps with his daughter.During the commotion The Miller's daughter reveals to John where the corn is.
  • After John found the corn he breaks up the fight between the two.John then grabs Alan after minor injuries .Both flee and return the corn to their professor.
