Storyboard Text

  • Hello, My name is Thomas Paine.
  • Hello! My name is Susan B. Anthony.
  • I wrote "Common Sense". What about you?
  • I am a women's rights activist and played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement.
  • I believe that the difference between men and women is a "distinction of nature" and that we all are created equal and have the same rights.
  • You say that we are all created equal and have the same rights but if we were why are women not aloud to vote? Do you think that's equal?
  • I also agree that women should be able to vote like men. But other men have different opinions.
  • So we aren't created equal? Since men believe that women should just stay home and cook and clean. While they are out working.
  • Well you know men would like to come home after a long day at work with a meal ready for them to eat.
  • They only expect those things from us nothing else. See I agree with some part of what you're saying but no one is created equally. I agree we should be treated equally.
  • We both have our different opinion on certain things but thank you Susan for coming out with me to talk!
  • Yes, and thank you Thomas for coming to talk with me today also!
