- hi im joseph from kortv and today we are going to be talking about how a murder charge almost destroyed snoop dogs career.
- snoops been on top since dre discvored him in 1992
- but a few years prior he was a thug  who constantly battled the law
- but one day snoop and his body guard melik pulled up on rival gang members just hours after a heated exchange 
- snoop rolled his jeep to their park bench and began to trade words one of the rival members set malik off so he stood up inside their topless jeep pulled his pistol and gunned the man down snoop peeled off in a panic and hid out for two days before turning himself in he was charged with murder but during the trial we discovered that the vitim tried to pull out his own pistol before malik shot him in self defense
- it was also discovered that the lapd accidentally destroyed crucial evidence including bullets from the scene snoop was aquitted in 1996and points this as a turning point in his career he stopped rapping about death as he didnt want his voice to glorify death or murder im joseph from kortv signing out.
