- It starts off with evaporation, where the water from oceans, lakes etc. gets evaporated by the sun and turns into water vapor
- Hi! I'm a water molecule, and today I'm going to talk about the processes of the water cycle.
- Then Condensation occurs, and water vapor turns into clouds. Deposition could also occur in the clouds turning it into solid ice.
- The particles from the clouds that falls down on earth as rain, snow or hail which is also the process of precipitation.
- Transpiration is when the water that drops down on earth gets absorbed by the soil and liquid water is turned into water vapor by plants.
- This is when the process Runoff comes in. In this process the water flows down to the ocean, lakes etc. or the soil absorbs the water.
- Finally the water that gets seeped by the soil turns into fresh water and this process is also known as infiltration.
