- Teacher, I love to travel the most.
- How do you travel Sameer ?
- Well teacher, I always travel by road, as we have so many options for travelling. I can choose to travel by an auto, car, bus or any other vehicle.
- Well Sameer, buses, autos, cars and other vehicles that move on road form Roadways. Have you noticed that some vehicles that move on the road are faster as compared to other vehicles?
- Yes madam, vehicles like bus, trucks, cars etc. move very fast and tongas and bicycles move very slowly. Why is it so?
- This is because fast moving vehicles use CNG, petrol and diesel as fuel and slow moving vehicles run on animal or man power.
- Ok. Teacher, are there any other means by which we can travel?
- Yes, we can also use Railways, Waterways or Airways for travelling.
- Wow! We have so many options to choose from if we wish to travel. Travelling has become so easy nowadays.
- Yes.However in ancient times, people either had to walk on foot or use a canoe or reedboat to cross waterbodies. It is the invention of wheel that has changed man's life completely.
- Yes,now wheels can be seen in vehicles as well as factories and farm equipments. Indeed wheels have changed the life of man.
