- Introduction
- Today, we will be looking at my top 3 multiple intelligences and the possible jobs I can have.
- Intrapersonal Intelligence
- Intrapersonal Intelligence is my top Intelligence and the one I relate to the most.
- Visual-Spatial and Bodily-Kinethetic
- Visual-Spatial Intelligence and Bodily-Kinesthetic are my 2nd and 3rd Intelligences.
- What are Multiple Intelligences? MI is a theory purposed by Harvard Psychologist Howard Gardner. Gardner purposed that their are 8 bits of intelligence and has suggested the addition of a 9th one called "existentialist intelligence". My top three intelligences are Visual-Spatial, Intrapersonal, and Bodily-Kinesthetic. Analizing your intelligence and looking for jobs that you would be good at based on them can be helpful in finding your future career.
- Possible Occupations
- Intrapersonal Intelligence includes being aware of your own emotions, feelings, and motivations, they are also very good at assessing their strengths. I am a very independent person and like being alone, I work through my feelings and can identify them somewhat easily. I like analyzing theories and trying to solve true crime stories.
- Possible Occupations
- Visual-Spatial Intelligence is when you are creative and good at visualizing. I like to read and write for fun, drawing or painting is something I really enjoy. Puzzles or spot the difference type games are interesting to me. Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence includes being good at body movement and physical control. I like to create things with my hand like making things with clay, I liked to do things to better understand them.
- Conclusion
- Those are my multiple intelligences and possible future careers and my thoughts about them.
- Possible jobs I can have that use my Intrapersonal Intelligence are being, a writer, philosopher, or scientist. These jobs include working alone and thinking about theories or making up a good story with a well-executed plot and also analyzing different information and thinking about all the possibilities. I would be open to being a writer or philosopher because I find that career interesting and attenable.
- Possible jobs that use my Visual-Spatial Intelligence include, artist or architect. These jobs use creativity and design to create, having good visual and spatial judgment is key to being able to do these jobs. I would consider either of these jobs, they are both interesting, creative and give you full control over what the finished product looks like. Jobs that I would be using my Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence for are being, a dancer, builder, sculptor, or actor. They all use your body to make some sort of art. I would consider being a sculptor because it seems fun and I like working with my hands.
- And that is why finding out your Intelligence is useful and can help you figure out your strengths and think about possible future jobs. If you still don't know what you want to do it can help you narow down the list of things you like and are capable of doing.
