- Now in 1742 Anders celsius hade made a scale called the the celsius scale.
- However Celsius scale have made the boiling point of water as 0 and the freezing point as 100. We believe he did this so people wouldn't get confused with negative numbers. After he died it was changed

- The First practical medical thermometer was made by Sir Thomas Albutt. Thomas had made a medical thermometer which could give you results in just five minutes. He used the Fahrenheit scale and used mercury in his thermometers.
