  • I did not promise to stay with you till death do us part or anything like that

  • She is using formal language and it is similar to language that would be used during a wedding ceremony so it seems she is trying to be overly dramatic.
  • mother, you never, ever said a kind word or a thank-you for all the tedious chores I have done;
  • She has tried to sound very formal as she wants to leave and she has used an interesting way to word this sentence.
  • Father your breath smells like a camel's and gives me the hump
  • She is obviously fed up of being treated awfully but she is over-reacting just a little bit to make sure that everyone listens to her. Suffer also suggests torture,pain and misery.
  • "Are you off in a cream puff, Lady Muck?"
  • She is using repetition to show how cruel her mother is and how little she does around the house while she does all the hard work. The word tedious suggests boring, repetitive and difficult.
  • She is using a similie to over-exaggerate because she has probably not smelt a camel's breath before.
  • Her father obviously thinks she is being over dramatic and childish about the whole situation and he uses cockney slang.
