- I have created a legislative assembly called 'Duma'. Reforms have been put in place, basic rights and universal suffrage. (but only of the rich)
- Bloody Sunday and 1905 Revolution

- The men had to work in factories along with little kids. Whereas the women had to work in agriculture. The working conditions for both men and females was poor as there was no sanitation or running water in the city. Industrialization resulted in many protests and strikes.

- By 1905 Tsar implemented some reforms which granted freedom of expression along with other basic civil rights and universal suffrage. The reforms didn't satisfy the people in Russia, this resulted in worker strikes and protests as Tsar had authoritative power.
- 1917 Revolution and Vladimir Lenin
- The goal of socialism is communism
- Workers marched to Tsars Winter palace to deliver a petition , however soldiers saw them as a threat resulting in many civilians being killed and injured. this was called bloody Sunday. This led to the 1905 revolution, strikes and protests broke out in response to the killings.
- The Bolshevik Red Army
- Russia did very bad in WWI. Famine was on the rise because war needed help with transport and resources leaving minimal for the public. Many workers and farmers went on strike during this time.

- The 1917 revolution happened because the peasants and working class people revolted against Tsar. Vladimir Lenin ran the communist party of the Soviet Union once tsar was killed. He was also the leader of the Bolshevik party.
- Tsar and his family was killed by the Bolsheviks, and Vladimir Lenin was made the leader. The Bolsheviks were revolutionary Marxists founded by Lenin. The Bolsheviks army name was the 'Red Army' to symbolise the blood shed while in battle with their opposition.
