Storyboard Text
hi all today I will be talking about waves and the different types of waves
now I'll be talking about transverse waves. Transverse Wave is when the medium moves up and down.
Lets get started with longitudinal wave. Longitudinal wave is a wave that the medium moves back and fourth
There both different because longitudinal waves goes back and fourth but transverse waves go up and down.
Now on to frequency. Frequency is how fast the medium vibrates.
Now i'll be talking about amplitude. Amplitude is how intense the energy is.
As you can see from there definitions they all influence the wave in one way
and now i'm on to wavelength. Wavelength is the distance between the wave.
seismic waves#160;are when energy builds up in the earth crust its released which causes a earthquake.
now i'll be talking about seismic waves#160;
p waves are when energy builds up in the earth crust its released which causes a earthquake.
S-waves- are transverse and they can transfer energy by going up and down.
That's the summary of waves hoped you guys all learned.
