- The hot weather caused a drought these days has ruined the soil and the wheat are all gone George!
- The weather is starting to get warmer in the prairies for farming season
- Duststorm

- We have to go to the city to find a job.
- Crops are growing well

- We will sell the crop then we will go to the soup kitchen everyday so we can survive and not be hungry and starve for the next couple years.

- The duststorm made it worse for Bob and George so they left.
- The Great Depression was happening.Bob decides to go to the souple kitchen to eat and have shelter with the money he has from selling the crops.
- Later on, the Depression was actually ended, and prosperity was restored, by the sharp reductions in spending, taxes and regulation at the end of World War II. After the great depression, I sold my wheat and made great money in the city and lived a great life.
