Storyboard Text

  • Nearing the closing of WWII, Germany surrendered. This is because of the previous events that has occurred with them. Their viewpoints were too strong and many people disagreed. It was always destined to be their fate
  • The United States and Soviet Union are both friend and for with one another. They have their moments however they ultimately work together.
  • The Manhattan Project is the “nickname” for the atomic bomb s that were being created near the end of the war. This began when American scientists first heard of nuclear weapons being assembled in Germany. They spread multiple facilities and used the Manhattan Project as a cover up.
  • The US used nuclear weapons on Hiroshima in August of 1945. After the 2 bombings there were over 200,000 casualties. A majority of which were innocent civilians. So many people were lost purely from radiation exposure.
  • This bombing happened shortly after the bombing of Hiroshima. The US dropped the bomb and within a matter of seconds, thousands of lives were lost. The radiation killed the country and there were little that left without any sort of damage.
  • Japan surrendered creating the ultimate end of the War. They surrendered because of the bomb that was dropped on them. They had too many casualties to continue in pursuit of the war.
