Storyboard Text

  • Hey! I'm doing good, but why do you not have sunscreen on?
  • Hi! How are you?
  • Oh no! That's not good!
  • Its not that big of a deal, nothings going to happen to me.
  • Oh, I must have forgotten to put it on. But its fine, it doesn't matter.
  • Actually it is a big deal, there could be many harmful or even deadly things that could happen to you.
  • Like what? How deadly can the sun be?
  • Well, first of all you could get skin cancer. Like Melanoma, Basal Cell, and Squamous Cell
  • What happens if you get them?
  • Basal Cell Carcinoma occurs in heavily sun-exposed areas of the skin, it looks like light pink or flesh-colored bumps with pearly or waxy appearances. If you don't treat it, over time you might need surgery.
  • Squamous Cell Carcinoma also happens when the skin is heavily exposed to the sun, it starts as flat red or brown splotches that become rough, dry, and scaly. If it isn't treated, it can spread to internal organs.
  • Melanoma is the deadliest of all, it can be anywhere on you body. If it isn't removed early it can spread to several internal organs.
  • Oh no!
  • Yeah, its a really big deal.
  • Oh wow! I didn't know about this.
