  • That is a great idea. While we do that we can try find the Northwest Passage
  • Great, lets go get supplies and head west
  • Explorers started on an expedition to make contact with indians and find the NorthWest Passage
  • We should make contact with the indian groups that might be interested in trade.
  • The bears are taking all our food
  • our feet have so many cactus needles in them and our muscles are sore
  • When they hauled their boats by land around these obstacles, the thorns of the prickly-pear cactus pierced their feet. Meanwhile, grizzly bears raided their camps, and game became scarce.
  • Rowing upstream against the Missouri River's strong current left the explorers' hands blistered and their muscles sore. Mosquitoes feasted on their sunburned faces.
