  • Parts of speech are very important when we begin our learning in the English language.When writing, we will constantly have to use the parts of speech correctly.Next we will explain each of the parts of the sentence
  • Parts of speech (1).
  • Number 1: Verb. Action or experience(Run, walk, push, eat).Example: Jennifer walked to the store.You were a great singer.Number 2: Noun.Names a person, place, things or ideas.(House, Teacher, cup, shop).Example:It was a small animal like a mouse.She was a nice women.
  • Parts of speech (2).
  • Number 3: Adjective.Describes a noun or pronoun.(Short, beautiful, red, old).Example: They live in a beautiful house.Ben is an adorable baby. Number 4: Adeverb.Describes a verb, or an adjective, or an adverb. The adverbs tell us how often, how, where or when.(Slowly, yesterday, always).Example:He was often seen among the rogues.It is very hot today.

  • Numbre 5: Pronoun.Replace the name of a person, place, thing or idea in a sentence.(I, She, our, they, it).Example: She did the job. They are good at playing basketball.Number 6: Interjection.Express strong emotion and is often followed by an exclamation mark.(Wow!, Oh!).Example:My research paper is late!.Yeah! I got her number.

  • Number 8: Preposition,Describes the place, time or direction. It is used before noun or pronoun.(Under, above, in, during).Example:He sat on the chair.My cat was hiding under the table.
