Storyboard Text

  • (Theme: Violence) Act I Scene i Lines 1-3
  • Act II Scene ii Line 14
  • Act III Scene iii Lines 18-20
  • This scene at the beginning of the play is trying to foreshadow all of the events that are going to happen throughout the whole play. Shakespeare is trying to hint at readers that these witches are up to no good and are evil spirits.
  • Act III Scene iv Lines 1-6
  • This scene is also using foreshadowing to predict future events that are going to happen in later scenes. This scene is also trying to prove that the first scene was foreshadowing future events
  • Act V Scene v Line 16
  • This is the scene where the 3 murderers kill Banquo, and his son gets away and flees. This scene is showing a flow of repetition as the play goes on. This scene is showing repetition because you are seeing multiple murders in a row and it is becoming a pattern.
  • Act V Scene vi Lines 80-85
  • This is the scene where Lady Macbeth throws the fun dinner party, and Macbeth is waiting for the murderers to come back with information. THis scene is showing foreshadowing for what the results will b when they come back, and for what Macbeth's next plan will be.
  • This is the scene where Lady Macbeth is on her resting bed pretty much about to die. This scene shows drama conventions because when Lady Macbeth dies, you can hear all the girls screaming and crying.
  • This dramatic event occurs in the final scene of the whole play. It is obviously when Macduff kills Macbeth in the battle at the end. This scene shows the literary device repetition, because it is once again showing the theme of violence.
