As always, Sindbad decides to go on just one last journey, this time to Europe, way beyond his range before.
Sirens
Ahh. My 8th Adventure. Nice to be back on the sea again. I'm confident this one will go great, just like how great I am!
Essential Question: How does one's personality get in the way of team success?
Woah. What is that music? It's beautiful.
(2) I just want some supplies and I'll be on my way. I have tamed my 7 voyages with ease. No monster can stop me!
(1) I am Sundjata, King of Mali! Noble as a lion, agile as a panther, and as ready as a buffalo!
(4) Ha, I bet I can do it. I could probably smash you in seconds. Now what do you want?
(6) That's why I'm here. I need revenge.
(3) Ha! I defeated a man with 63 spirit animals. Now if you want your supplies you have to earn it. If not, then be gone from my land!
(5) Help me take out the Sirens nearby. They have been causing import and export problems.
Sindbad sailed up the Niger River, which led him right to Sundjata.
The music was so amusing that Sindbad almost got lured in. At the last second, he escaped through luck, but went the wrong way and lost lots of supplies.
Mwhahaha! He's lost! I don't think he knows.
Phew! I got away from those creatures.
The next day, they went out to find the Sirens.
(3) WHAT!? Fine, I'll distract for you.
(2) Um, we should actually run away. Not sure what to do.
(1) There they are! Let's get them!
From a lucky sword throw, Sindbad manages to kill all three Sirens while Sundjata used his powers to withstand the songs.
Yes! I did it!
Lesson: Teamwork often accomplishes more.
You too, Your Royalty. Your courage was appreciated. I'm heading home instead. I'm still better than you though.
