  • The Cell Cycle Analogy
  • G1 - Growth
  • S - Synthesis
  • The cell cycle is like a fashion trend. Once the demand for that particular garment or accessory increases, the manufacturers naturally produce larger quantities of the same.
  • G2 - Growth
  • In the G1 phase, organelles are duplicated and the cell increases in size. Similarly, as the demand for the product grows, so does the supply
  • M - Mitosis and Cytokinesis
  • In the Synthesis Phase, the second phase of interphase, DNA is duplicated along with the nucleus. In the same way, as the quantity of the product being produced increases, so does the production of the raw material (Example: Thread) it is made up of.
  • The End
  • In the G2 phase, organelles are further duplicated and the cell increases in size. Similarly, as the demand for the product grows, so does the supply; automatically
  • During this stage, the cell is successfully decided into 2 parts. In an alike sense, the garments are shipped off to different retail shops to be sold to the consumer for direct use.
  • At the end of the cell division process, the cell is separated into 2 identical parts. In that very context, the retail shops to which the garments are distributed will have the same clothes.
