- About the Writer... Hello, everyone. My name is Giulia Albano and I am the writer of the book you are about to read. I grew up in a city called Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. I have two sisters, Giovanna, who is six years older than me and Gabi, who is six years younger than me. We moved to the United States 2 years ago, when I was only sixteen years old. I am currently living with my parents and my little sister, since Giovanna had to stay in Brazil to finish up Medical School.

- We miss my big sister very much. In fact, this book is dedicated to her. She was my inspiration when I was growing up, and this character was based on her as a teenager. - Once Upon A Time... There was a beautiful princess named Genevieve. She was fourteen years old and everybody could already tell she would be the prettiest girl in the kingdom.
