Snemalna Knjiga Besedilo

  • Joseph plans his test against his brothers
  • Go confront my brothers
  • Yes, I will leave now
  • The Confrontation
  • Whoever has the silver goblet shall become my slave
  • We did not steal a silver goblet
  • The brothers are confused
  • Just check your bags
  • It is in my bag
  • Ok, we will
  • Joseph is planning his test on his brothers. He has placed his own silver goblet in the youngest brother's bag. This scene represents Joseph telling his steward to go out and overtake his brothers saying "Why did you repay good with evil? Why did you steal my silver goblet?"
  • The brothers plea their innocence
  • I brought them back
  • Why did you steal from me?
  • We had no idea! We are so sorry!
  • The steward goes out to confront the brothers. He says everything that Joseph told him to say and the brothers check their bags for the silver goblet. The steward says that only the one with the silver goblet shall become a slave.
  • The brothers plea their innocence
  • I need to tell you guys something
  • OK, what do you need to tell us?
  • The brothers check their bags one at a time starting from the oldest to youngest. The youngest brother, Benjamin, was found with the goblet.
  • The Future for the Family
  • I almost forgot. You can settle in the region of Goshen with all of your families and I will provide for you during the famine
  • The brothers, who truly had no idea that there was a silver goblet, plea their innocence to Joseph. They explain how sorry they are and that they would do anything to make it right.
  • I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt. This was all a test.
  • Joseph tells his brothers the truth about the test. He informs his brothers that he is Joseph and that it was not them, but God who had him go to Egypt. He tells his brothers to go home and let his father know that he is the Lord of all Egypt.
  • Joseph tells his brothers that they can move to the region of Goshen with all of their families and he would provide for them during the famine. This story really shows us that something bad, like being caught as a thief, can end up good if you tell the truth. BY MASON BRYER
