- Lily agreed to help them and after lengthy examinations they came to a diagnosis. Russell had dengue fever, a febrile illness that is easy to diagnose. Sophie thought it was strange that it had taken so long to reach that diagnosis, but remembered that the hospital did not want to help Russell at all. If only they had done some tests, Russell would already be receiving the necessary treatment.
