  • Poseidon, God of the sea, Poseidon is a god in Greek mythology and one of the Twelve Olympians. He is one of the three most powerful Greek gods (along with Zeus and Hades) and rules over the ocean and all bodies of water.
  • Apollo, God of the sun and of poetry. Apollo is the Greek god of music, poetry, light, prophecy, and medicine. He is one of the Twelve Olympian gods who live on Mount Olympus. Artemis, the Greek goddess of hunting, is his twin sister.
  • Hermes, Messenger of the Gods. Hermes was a Greek god and one of the Twelve Olympians who lived on Mount Olympus. His main job was to serve as the messenger of the gods. He was able to travel very fast and could easily move between the realms of the gods, humans, and the dead.
  • Hades, God of the Underworld. Hades is a god in Greek mythology who rules the land of the dead called the Underworld. He is one of the three most powerful Greek gods (along with his brothers Zeus and Poseidon).
  • Zeus, King of Gods. Zeus was the king of the Greek gods who lived on Mount Olympus. He was the god of the sky and thunder. His symbols include the lightning bolt, the eagle, the bull, and the oak tree. He was married to the goddess Hera.
  • Ares, The God of War and Violence. Ares was the Greek god of war and one of the twelve major Greek gods who lived on Mount Olympus. He was known for being violent and cruel, but also cowardly. Most of the other Olympians, including his parents Hera and Zeus, didn't like Ares very much.
