this is a representation of me getting adopted by my dad when I was little, this was a very life changing experience for me for the circumstances that I had to deal with with my biological dad. my dad now (who adopted me) pushes me to the best person I could possibly be. he loves me so much and I know if I ever needed anything he would try is 100% best to help me out. he showed me how a man should treat a women. he has set really high expectations for me
I won a state championship in the 8th grade for basketball, I've played basketball since I could walk. its an escape, its like nothing even matters off the court when I would step foot on that court. my teammates weren't just teammates, they became family.
I went through a very bad depression after graduation, I decided to stop eating and ended up losing 120+ pounds. going through something like this has made me learn to love myself for me, my opinion is the only one that matters, self love is a big thing I try to focus on. and also owning up to your mistakes or problems can be hard but its all apart of life. mental health is no joke.
