- the supernatural in this story starts to haunt Macbeth as he becomes eviler and eviler. After meeting with the murders he hired to kill Banquo he enters the room where he is supposed to be hosting a celebration of his new status to see the ghost of Banquo sitting in his seat he starts to go off at a empty chair that he belives to have a ghost sitting in it

- This is the first time the supernatural appears within the play well returning from a victorious battle Macbeth runs into the witchs gathering in the forrest this is where the witchs tell Macbeth he will soon be king
