- Over the years there has been more and more problems with air pollution. Air pollution is the release of pollutants into the air. The release of pollutants is caused because of many things we do. For example, cars. We drive cars all the time, even to go to close places. Both electric and manual cars harm the Earth and worsen our state of air pollution.
- Air pollution is important because it is a major threat to our health and climate. It is bad for our health because it can result giving us a stroke, heart disease, lung cancer, acute and chronic respiratory diseases. Air pollution is so bad for us humans, that nearly seven million deaths around the world happen because of this. Air pollution is also bad for the Earth. It causes damage to crops and trees and gives us harsh weather. Air pollution causes carbon dioxide and methane, which raises the Earth's temperature. This also increases the amount of mold and pollen, meaning a longer pollen season.
- Thankfully there are people who care about the Earth and our health. There are some organizations and activists who are helping with this major issue. NACA - National Association for Clean Air is helping reduce air pollution nationwide.
